* Iosif Schneideman was originally cast for these roles; however, he injured his knee during the second preview, therefore, a speaking actor covered the role. After that, these roles were converted to the "speaking actor" track (except Silas Phelps).
Side note: while the company tried to figure out who would cover Iosif's roles, Ed Waterstreet (Artistic Director of DWT) went in as Hervey and Silas.
** & *** Until Roundabout production, Dick and Simon are in one character as "Dick Simon." For the national tour, the character was splited into two.
**** The role of Strange Woman was cut during the preview of Mark Taper.
***** Daniel Jenkins performed in the Tucson, Los Angeles, and Denver runs. Michael Flanigan performed in Portland and Seattle.
****** Tyrone Giordano and Michael McElroy performed until Sacramento run. Tyrone returned to the tour from Denver run.
Darren Frazier and Stanley Bahorek left the tour company after Delaware run to join in the D.C. company.
******* David Aron Damane has been performing Jim from Cincinnati run.
